Actress Isabel Sanford, known best for her role on The Jeffersons as Louise "Weezie" Jefferson, died today. She was the first black woman to win a Best Actress (Comedy) Emmy and had a list of theatrical performances before her first screen credit at age 50 in the classic Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?
Ms. Sanford was 86.
