Go for it, Mr. President

The Monk is now EXHORTING the Republican National Committee to prominently display footage of Pres. Bush exhorting the FDNY in the rubble of the WTC on September 14, 2001; his speech to Congress in October 2001 and the State of the Union in 2002; and all other strong, decisive and intelligent responses Bush made to September 11.

The Democrats will whine and scream that Bush is making September 11 a campaign issue. F--- them twice.

FIRST, Kerry took a page from fat nutball Michael Moore's playbook and criticized Bush for continuing as normal to read to Florida schoolchildren after an aid whispered the news of the attack in his ear. What would Kerry have done, jumped into the rubble, turned back time, expected that those seven minutes AFTER the attacks could actually be used in a better fashion than unnecessarily alarming the small kiddies? (Here is the school principal's positive reaction to Bush's response). But now Kerry has made September 11 an issue and the REPUBLICANS SHOULD BEAT HIM TO SMITHEREENS over this.

Second, IT SHOULD BE AN ISSUE. Kerry says another such attack will be met with decisive retribution. Nothing about the ounce of prevention that would make such retribution unnecessary by preventing the attack on the US for which we would seek revenge. We can trust Bush to fight against that type of attack ever happening again. He toppled the Taliban, and toppled a prime terrorist collaborator in Saddam.

Indeed, Bush is doing so even after he has demolished both the Taliban and Saddam (and freed more than 50,000,000 Muslims from tyranny). See here for details. If Kerry wants this fight, and it seems that he does, the Republicans should give it to him and beat the snot out of him for it.

There are a lot of us who do not wish to be attacked again before we take action. Read my blog re letters to the military. Moore has circulated his propaganda and some are wondering if they really have support at home.
