Reading the tea leaves

Meanwhile in the Eastern European tundra, Russian semi-dictator Vladimir Putin has publicly declared that Russia could play ball with Viktor Yushchenko.

"'We have worked with him already and the cooperation was not bad,' Putin said during a visit to Germany. 'If he wins, I don't [fore]see any problems.'"

Putin making nice while visiting an EU nation. Hmm.
