Wendy Long completely debunks the myths regarding the Democrats' unconstitutional filibustering of the President's judicial nominees; click title for her column. Jonathan Chait recycles those myths (mainly the one about "mistreatment" of Clinton nominees by not voting on them at the end of Clinton's second term -- but the Democratic Senate refused to vote on MORE nominees at the end of GHW Bush's term in 1992, a fact that Chait does not deign to include) into an everyone-is-a-hypocrite column that exonerates the Dems.
I've covered this issue many times, and a fairly thorough restatement of the Dems' myths (and why they are wrong) is here.
