The Monk groused that Yankees might not be in first place by the time he got back from holiday. Well glad to say I've managed to hold the line for him thanks to Seattle for splitting a series and slowing down the Boston dreadnought. Oh and thanks for John Olerud too. Though the idea of a staff of Mussina, Duque, Vazquez and Lieber in the playoffs must be giving Joe agita.
