The mainstream media has been gleefully relating how the newly unearthed memos by CBS 60 Minutes II support accusations that President Bush acted dishonorably during his National Guard service and that pressure was put on his superiors to give him preferential treatment.
I am not a conspiracy theorist but the blogging community has done some extensive investigation which seems to indicate that the memos have been forged. From someone who did his high school term papers on a typewriter these memos do look dodgy.
Two of the most compelling arguments that these memos are fabrications are from Little Green Footballs and Small Dead Animals.
