With all mumbles about SCOTUS vacancies - there was a rumor, since discredited, that Stevens was going to resign too - a fond thought came to me.
Would it be just possible to murmur quietly somewhere that ROBERT BORK could be re-nominated? Someone will go apoplectic. Too bad he's about 80.
