Kelo fallout, part 514

Oakland, California is the latest municipality to take the Kelo decision and start kicking out long-time residents and businesses from their homes in an effort to create a bigger tax base.

Vodkapundit's sidekick says there's a connection between the developer and HR Democratic Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi that somehow is relevant to her approval of the Supreme Court's decision. I don't buy that at all. But Oakland's determination that long-standing family businesses need to give way for a developer's condo project is yet another eminent domain abuse that the Supreme Court's horrid Kelo decision sanctioned.
