Captain Ed rightly excoriates freshman senator Ken Salazar (D-Colorado) for withdrawing his support for William Myers III of Idaho for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Last year when Salazar was in a tight race for Senate against Pete Coors, he joined eleven other state attorneys general in supporting Myers when he came before the Senate for confirmation. This centrist position certainly helped him among conservative Coloradans.
Well right after he won the election, he said he'd re-evaluate. Nice. Well he has.

The most important warning here? Hillary Clinton is doing the exact same thing. But she's running for a much more important office.
