Sen. Paul Sarbanes (D-Md) has announced he won't seek a sixth term in the Senate when his current term runs out in 2006. Sarbanes, a hard-core liberal, sports a lifetime ADA rating of about 95 and has hit 100 a number of years. He and Barbara Mikulski form quite the nightmare duo from Maryland.
Sarbanes is also known as Fed chief Alan Greenspan's chief tormentor in his semi-annual testimony before Congress constantly berating Greenspan for his hawkishness.
Won't miss him.
