Step back for UConn?

No matter how good UConn may be next year, it will be hard-pressed to win the national title and there are five words to describe why: Charlie Villanueva is going pro.

Villanueva, who looks like a young-and-tanned version of Midnight Oil singer Peter Garrett, is a premier talent. He's big (6-11, 240), strong, is a pogo-stick jumper (jump once, land, jump again -- all very quickly) and can shoot a bit. Even with Charlie V., UConn couldn't win it all this season. Then again, next year UConn has a nice recruiting class and should still be a powerhouse in the Big East.
