Our friend Jon Henke at Q and O provides insight (if possible) into the mind of former Enron consultant cum NY Times columnist-madman Paul Krugman. A nice rundown of Krugman's writing process. It's good for Krugman that he's not bothered by a need to be consistent from column to column, nor rational in any given screed. Imagine the paralyzing effect of clozaril on his writing -- he could become lucid and analytical thereby undermining everything he's written to date!
Anyway, read Henke's piece. Quite funny.
