Cedar Revolution Update

The Lebanese protest against Syrian occupation is the "Cedar Revolution". Derivation? Whaddaya think them trees on the Lebanese flag are, poplars?

Anyway, the US is making the right noises according to the CNN report linked in the title of this post. Here's Secretary of State Rice: "Events in Lebanon are moving in a very important direction. The Lebanese people are starting to express their aspirations for democracy ... This is something that we support very much."
