The Monk hasn't left much unsaid in the Eason Jordan scandal. The salient points are he is [was] the chief of the CNN news division and it was NOT the first time he made these outrageous accusations and as such his repeated false comments were incendiary and unacceptable.
As an epilogue Little Green Footballs has a short, sweet post (click title) on CNN and Fidel Castro. Jordan, in a 1999 speech thanked Fidel Castro for giving Ted Turner the idea of making CNN available worldwide. Fidel apparently was a big fan.
Charles: I wonder what could have attracted Fidel Castro so strongly to CNN?
