Eason Jordan update

Michelle Malkin has secured Senator Christopher Dodd's (D, Connecticut) comment on the Eason Jordan accusations:

"Senator Dodd was not on the panel but was in the audience when Mr. Jordan spoke. He – like panelists Mr. Gergen and Mr. Frank – was outraged by the comments. Senator Dodd is tremendously proud of the sacrifice and service of our American military personnel."

This would make for Dodd, Congressman Barney Frank and David Gergen who have agreed that Eason Jordan made these outrageous comments. Hardly a threesome of ranting neocons.

I did a search for "Eason Jordan" in various combinations on the New York Times on-line. The closest I came was an article that talked about backup quarterbacks in the Super Bowl and how Steve Grogan replaced an ineffective Tony Eason about 20 years ago.

Protecting one of their own indeed.
