New CIA head
George Tenet resigned today. See here for details. Those of us who thought Pres. Bush should not have kept Clinton's CIA Director in place now will have a new man to kick around. Out of all of Clinton's CIA people, I'd prefer to see James Woolsey back -- he seems to have more ability than Tenet or anyone else Clinton had in his intel posts (NSC head, DIA, etc.). A rumored replacement is Porter Goss, a Florida Republican Congressman and former spook (spy) himself.
