Academic freedom and the thought police

John Yoo is a law professor at Berkeley and knows the Geneva conventions on POWs better than you or I. But he ran afoul of the liberal mind-set in academe and now some dopes at Berkeley want to run him out of town for a memo he wrote for the Justice Department because they claim he aided and abetted Abu Ghraib.
