The Monk becomes quite saddened when he realizes that not only is Katie Couric a fellow U.Va. alum, but she also is an alum of The Cavalier Daily, where The Monk headed two departments during his days as a Cav (she predated The Monk's tenure by a decade-plus).
Just read her preposterous blog entry. This demonstrates the lack of significant intellectual thought that characterizes most journalists.
