Why would Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan dictator who sits on the largest oil reserves in the Western Hemisphere, openly aids Fidel Castro and the Sandinista retrenchment in Nicaragua, signs economic deals with Iran whilst praising its theocracy, succors terrorists and calls for Bolivaran (read: Communist) revolution throughout South America want a nuclear reactor? Environmental reasons?
Think again.
And President Bush sees no problem with "peaceful" nukes in Venezuela.
This is willful stupidity or willful blindness. Chavez is the greatest threat to the US in this hemisphere and the Administration has done nothing while his influence ascends. Kind of like Clinton's willful blindness to the bin Laden threat in the late 90s . . .
