SI's Aditi Kinkhabwala rips baseball, the Devil Rays, and the players' union for failing to combat domestic violence by baseball players. And with good reason -- there's plenty of it that various players have committed.
The worst case now is Elijah Dukes -- a wife/girlfriend/babymomma beater (he has kids with four women) who makes serial wife-beater Wilfredo Cordero look like a lap kitty. He sat for two games after the latest allegations by his wife.
Sick.
Tony Maserotti sums this up nicely:
A player fails a drug test and he gets a 50-game suspension. But if he gets charged with beating his wife, he can keep right on playing.
