CIA sieve

Powerline notes here and here that CIA leaks on rendition are damaging our ability to extract intelligence from unlawful combatants. Sounds so bad that pretty soon the CIA might be indistinguishable from the State Department. Didn't we send Porter Goss in to clean this mess up. Not for nothing but this rendition should be pretty sensitive - why isn't his information better compartmentalized and held as top secret?

Oh and for Senator McCain and sympathizers who argue against coercive treatment: [from ABCNews]

Of the 12 high-value targets housed by the CIA, only one did not require water boarding before he talked. Ramzi bin al-Shibh broke down in tears after he was walked past the cell of Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the operational planner for Sept. 11. Visibly shaken, he started to cry and became as cooperative as if he had been tied down to a water board, sources said.
