Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. -- R.W. Emerson

Tale of two closers
Down 3-2, top 9 = Arod bangs a huge homer on the first pitch from Arthur Rhodes to tie the game, the Yanks scratch out another off an iffy Rhodes. Up 4-3, bottom 9, Rivera not hitting his spots -- he gives up line-drive singles to the first two hitters but makes a huge defensive play on a not-so-bad bunt attempt to keep runners at first and second. A grounder and popup and the Yanks win again. Rivera is the best one-speed pitcher since Sandy Koufax in game seven of the '65 World Series.
